I would choose either chukkas or bucks i cant say much on comfort, since i just started wearing chukkas and i dont have a pair of bucks but i would say they are the best looking imo. and when buying shoes or picking my shoes with my outfit i use this guide

Honestly man, I would say start with the basics. Get a hair cut that's somewhat clean cut (or at least cleaner cut) like this. I say get a cleaner cut, because this will balance out the beard...plus I just think it looks bad ass. Make sure your beard is well groomed as well. For clothing I would start with crazy basic stuff. Get a well fitted pair of jeans, not skinny, just well fitted. Some nice fitting T-shirts from somewhere like J Crew, or something and some solid colored oxfords. Also get a pair of starter boots, like these. This could be described as the "MFA uniform". This will just be the beginning to get you started. Check out the WAYWT threads and get inspiration from the outfits you see. Right now you might feel confused and frustrated with your style, but before you know it you will start to build your ideal style.
