they haven't gone anywhere, it's just that there are a ton more western authors now that sort of drown them out
also when there was a limited supply of litrpg, it was more profitable to translate Russian works. Now that we're practically drowning in choices, the economics of translation are pretty brutal for all but the biggest authors

If you haven’t read any of the Russian LITRPG, I’ve found I really enjoy them in Audible. Like many, Way of the Shaman was my entry-level but recently I’ve loved the Disgardium series and the Npc Path series.

Disgardium series by Dan Sugralinov. MC is invulnerable but whenever he uses his power he starts to rot :) A balanced OP is the best one -
