No cables in the way or anything, and it is cheap. Yes kid could still yank it but that's the same as with the USB stuff. I wonder if your 15v adapter can run on 120 volt input instead of 220. Lots of those things are universal voltage.

Does the car itself have speakers? Wonder if you could just wire up to those somehow.
