Collision Low Crossers is about a reporter who spent a year embedded with Rex Ryan's Jets. It's a very insightful look at what the life of an NFL coach is like.

Well, according to books like Low Collision Crossers, that's exactly what you do. Set up a big board and grab the best value at your given draft spot.

I've never read it, but the guys on the Around the NFL podcast are always raving about Collision Low Crossers.

He's been on the practice squads of at least 3 teams, right? I dunno. Something's going on.

He looked pretty good in the preseason game for the Cowboys last year.

Hive, if you haven't read Collision Low Crossers you should. It's about the Jets, but I mention it here because it was very educational about what goes on behind the scenes, and with Tanney I've got to think that something is occuring during the week with him that isn't readily apparent to fans.

But yeah last year I distinctly remember saying that I'd prefer to keep Tanney over Orton. Of course the Cowboys didn't listen to me (sigh).

He's not young anymore, though. He's 27! Three teams and never played in a regular season game. Odd.
