The Complete Boa Constrictor - Vincent Russo - A great resource for those who want to learn about the different kinds
and history of Boa Constrictors as well as husbandry info. A ton of beautiful pictures, lessons on scale counting etc. Unfortunately, it does have a few spelling mistakes, and the organization isn't really the best (and it's a bit pricey), overall worth it.

This along with the feeding guide from CrispySnakes is my bible.

To paraphrase: "The male's hemipenes were fully everted and appeared much larger than those of any other boas that we had seen [...] This was a significant finding and since we could not name the snakes 'Boa constrictor hemipenis elongatus' for obvious reasons, we went with Boa c. longicauda."

The Complete Boa Constrictor by Vin Russo sounds like what you're looking for, Vin Russo is one of the most well known and accomplished boa breeders out there. I'd pick this up sooner rather than later if I were you, supply seems to be low and they probably aren't printing anymore of them.

This is the book I was talking about. Many hobbyists and pros consider it one of the preeminent BCI/BCC resources, but it's priced like a college text book. I might just have to cough up the cash, but I just spent $500 on a Crested Gecko and building his naturalistic vivarium so it's out of my budget for now
