Reddit reviews CompTIA A+ Training Kit (Exam 220-801 and Exam 220-802) (Microsoft Press Training Kit)

I passed last week, here's what I used:

• Professor Messer's 220-801 videos
  
• Professor Messer's 220-802 videos
  
• Both of Professor Messer's study guides
  
• Examcompass for practice questions
  
• This book, because it came with a CD with really tough questions on it...If you pass these easily you're exam ready. It's also nice to have a textbook to refer to, this also has digital copies for your tablet/whatever.
  
  I think the next test (with updated objectives) will be coming out summer/fall 2015. There should also be 6 months overlap between the old and new, so that gives you more than enough time to get this done. That's just about all I'd recommend other than the CompTIA A+ exam objectives.

A great book that covers all the basics (as well as some of the more esoteric things) is CompTIA A+ Training Kit by Darril Gibson

I highly recommend CBT Nuggets and CompTIA A+ Training Kit from Microsoft. Both are extensive and cover all the necessary fundamentals of computers (compare to Professor Messer's free vids).
