They work off butane, they come with 1 cartridge, takes a couple minutes to warm up but then your good to go.
First year for beauty stations so I’m not sure, but I would seriously doubt it. It looks like they are only offering braiding, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t even have power. If they do, then I’m sure it’s at a premium and I wouldn’t blame them for not letting everyone use them.
This has been a festival game changer for me.
I have a little butane powered straightening iron and while it in no way is as good as an electric one it does the job (albeit slowly). The butane lasts forever too because I only use it at festivals.
