There's no sale, it's just marked as "$413.03 off $1662.03 - 25% discount" which is a pretty old tactic for drawing attention to a product.

I'm surprised at the weight limit comment though. I'm in the US, not the UK, this one has a weight limit of 275lb's and is around $300:

It really has a lot to do with what you'll use though. I mean buy one of these and put it in the garage, good chance it will never get used. Who wants to spend 30 minutes staring at the wall of the garage?
Some people buy bikes just because they're more likely to ride them and use them.
It 's $945 with shipping included brand new on Amazon.. So, I am not sure if it is a good deal for used one. Plus you might need to take care of delivery on your own..
