I like my Condor Multiwrap
I use a [Condor multi-wrap.] (https://www.amazon.com/Condor-MULTI-P-Multi-Wrap/dp/B0086UB82U?th=1&psc=1) It works quite well and can keep me cool on hot days and warm on cold ones.
It wasn't a ski mask. Just a little cloth mask to hide my face.
I've seen some people mod their helmets and such, that took me too long in order to set it up. However, the best thing for me was a beanie, I like the puff ball ones with the designs and it is saggy enough to protect the head. Here is the facewrap that I wear.
