You also need copper tape https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01CH4LYZ6/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to wrap around where you want it on the stones, since the solder won't usually adhere to stones directly.
Down the road I really should also get some flux, which is a liquid that helps the solder flow more freely, and a third hand, which has a bunch of clamps to help hold things exactly where you want. Copper Tape over the lead should do the trick. If you can find 1/8th size you won't have to cut it in half.
