Reddit reviews Cowboy Bebop: The Movie [Blu-ray]

The "Bebop Crew Edition" has the coolest design and the most useless add-ons:

Digipak cases suck and PVC Bookends are useless

But $500 is reasonable, right? Just to know how bad Funimation is trying to fuck you:

• Vinyl costs like $15/per to make, so worth $30 for retail
  
• PVC bookends retail for like $30
  
• Blueray set is like $35 + The movie for $10, plus Digipak cases suck, hard
  
• Litho prints are cheap and easy
  
• The art book is worth somewhere from $25-$45, maximum, especially if it's only 200 pages
  
  That shit should actually cost ~$150-$200, tops.
  

When oh when will they ever release the movie on Blu-ray????

Yep. Higher video quality, and a ton of features. 5 audio commentaries, a couple interviews, the original and creditless OP/ED, and some other things. On 4 discs instead of 6, too. The movie is $6.99 on Amazon, too. Also Bluray. The first review says to go with the DVD, though, since the BD leaves out all the features.

I see a distinct lack of Angel Beats, Claymore, FLCL, The Trigun movie, ANY Miyazaki film (For shame), Akira , The Cowboy Bebop movie, Akira, the fantastic Summer Wars and the director of that movies previous work, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

These are just a couple small suggestions, happy collecting man!
