I have an RP and haven't had any battery issues in the few weeks (and 8-900 shots) I've used it. I bought these batteries from Amazon and they work fine. The batteries are small enough to fit a couple of extra in a pocket, and the charger is USB which is nice. I have an M5 that uses the same batteries so I have about 7 total (3 Canon brand and 4 of the Ravpower brand) and the only problem I've come across is that the Ravpower batteries are just a tiny bit larger than the Canon ones so I have to shake the camera to get them out, especially when I have the grip extender on there.

I got the RP with the 24-105L lens and a discounted control ring EF-RF adapter through canonpricewatch.com, and all together the package was within your price range. I also bought the RF 35mm 1.8 and it's an awesome lens. I got the grip extender through Canon's website for a discount after I registered the RP.
