i actually just use dry ice around the base of my serving tap!
Same, with the difference being I keep my bin in the closet given I don't have a garage, and instead of the water containers, I have a two large party-pitchers (like this ), some kitchen pitchers, and a cooler. I only have to prep for one usually, so this does me fine.
I use bottled water tbh. Well, I use gallon water, and I pour it in one of those...lemonade dispenser things? The things people have for garden parties or w/e, like this one. I set the dispenser on my bathroom sink and it works perfectly.
Not sure about products to get rid of the bumps - I'd probably go for prevention rather than treatment.
