I bought this sealer a couple months ago. I was already looking at it and it went on lightning sale for 20 bucks cheaper. It's worked great so far. I also bought these vacuum sealer rolls so I could create my own bags to any length needed.

I've really gotten a lot of good use out of it.

I used freezer bags and the displacement method before without issue, but wanted stronger bags with a better seal for a longer cook on a prime rib roast. It turned out great!

After trying a few this Crenova is my favorite.

When it seals it turns the heating element on, and then vacuums the chamber to put pressure on the sealing point. I've probably used it for 100+ bags and only had it fail twice (both were my fault; allowed near-freezing liquid into the sealing point.)

Also when setting the first seal from a roll, you can set the seal right on the edge of the plastic. With my MIL's Foodsaver you waste 1" every time.
