Dava Jazz picks for me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001QJGYIG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Definitely. I swear by Dava and buy them a bunch at a time. When they get rounded off a bit, or otherwise deformed, I toss them on a desk and keep them as spares.
Last time I lost one, it was in the cupholder in my car and I accidentally sucked it up with the vacuum.
Edit: Different link.
Neil's was about the same profile as the one you broke but a different material, probably Tortex, and quite thick and rigid, which works great for soloing for me but not very well for rhythm or switching between the two roles. Randy's was a big tortoise-shell looking triangle, with three usable points. More brittle, like the one you broke.
Here are two I've been experimenting with the last few years:

The Dava's are thick and sturdy where you grip them but the points are more flexible, which I like for rhythm playing.
The Dunlops pictured really stick to your fingers, basically a version of velcro. They made me realize that I am constantly shifting my pick for different effect, so they feel a bit constraining, I have to change my approach a fair bit, but they're much harder to drop, and it doesn't hurt to change my approach from time to time either.
