If between those two the gtx. Freesync is nice but not really a dealbreaker if its not to mask low framerate if you are accustomed to high refresh gaming.

That said i would steer away from overpriced asus stuff although i cant seem to find anything decent on amazon at least. This one seems like a good deal but its far more expensive https://www.amazon.com/Dell-G3-3590-Laptop-Generation/dp/B07WVRCWYK/

Just noticed its on euros,,,

Where are you located so i can help you choose

Hey. Id suggest you get this pretty decent Dell G3 15 3590 Laptop. it comes with a good gtx 1660ti gpu which will be grat for your AAA titles, the latest 9th gen i5 cpu and and build quality and thermals arent bat for the price tag.

you can also consider this MSI GL63 9SDK-623 as a suitable alternative.

Personally, I'd go for #1 just because of the 1650. The newer CPU is nice too, but not a huge impact. The only issue is the tiny SSD, which you'll definitely need to upgrade, so that's a cost consideration. If it were me, I'd be upgrading it in either one though, so maybe a moot point.

Have you looked at a G3 instead of 5? The new model is on sale in several places right now, and gets you a better GPU (It's Max-Q, but still runs very smoothly at high settings) and a 512GB SSD. RAM is 2x4GB, so comes dual-channel out of the box. Only 60hz screen, but if you're looking for "bang for your buck", it's hard to beat: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-G3-3590-Laptop-Generation/dp/B07WVRCWYK/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=gaming+laptop&qid=1573242351&refinements=p_n_feature_seven_browse-bin%3A18107821011%2Cp_36%3A70000-85000&rnid=386442011&s=pc&sr=1-7

Some people have reported heat throttling issues, but I have played several hours of Destiny 2 on it so far with no issues at all, so it probably depends on what you're playing. I got one for $800 at Best Buy last week, so expect it will come down again soon.

Alternatively, Is there a reason you're looking specifically at Dell? There are lots of deals going on right now which can get you more for your money. Here are a few:

Then the alternative could be the Dell G3 15 3590, which has a GTX 1660 Ti graphics card as well.

Take a look at the Dell G3 15 3590 which has a decent battery life and lots of power. It will be able to manage more than light gaming as well as heavy-duty programs. It is below your budget so you can use the extra cash to add more RAM if you like. It has a clean and professional look so you can pop it out in meetings no problem
