Dual Monitor Question:
So I have the Predator 27" IPS and I just bought this monitor to wall mount above my gaming monitor. I'll use this for work, media, temperatures while gaming etc. My questions is, should I run both of these from my GPU (Titan x Pascal - 2016) OR should I run the second monitor from my mobo to avoid any frame drop?
Yup we buy these all the time for our department. Get two and put them side by side if you can.

Hmm I was thinking about this a little more and I would actually tell you to get an ultra widescreen 27 to 32 inch monitor instead of two of these. It would be about the same amount of cash. Maybe even a little less..

I just purchased a used Dell u3415w and the Paper mode is an eye saver for work. I look at a lot of pdf's and CAD work and now I have two U2212HM's that I won't use because as far as I can tell there is no firmware update that adds paper mode. I don't do color accurate work or much gaming so I just leave it in Paper Mode all the time.
If you can time your purchase you might be able to get a U2917w for <$250. According to Amazon via Keepa the lowest price ever was ~260. If this is a monitor that you get to keep I would definitely recommend it. I'm looking for one myself used or on sale. I mention this because the 29" ultrawide is the same height as the 22 inch monitors, but are 30% wider.

You might also be able to get a refurbished monitor of the same size resolution from a different vendor such as monoprice. They recently had a LG34 1080p for $199.99 https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=29521 which is bigger than you want, but still the open box/return might be a good path as well as craigslist.
There's tons of displays that are superior to the outdated overpriced stuff Apple was pushing. Since you're likely on a Mac, I'll exclude monitors with a higher refresh rate than 60Hz.
This one is a good baseline. It's great if you want a direct replacement for the cinema display (although this monitor features better adjustment).
This one is a great lower res 21:9 display.

Finally, this one (with it's 28 inch brother) are both excellent UHD monitors.
