The products I have been using are just the Devacurl brand. I use their No poo shampoo and conditioner. I really let the conditioner sit in my hair for a bit and then I'll turn my head upside down and shake my head to allow my curls to fluff while wet. I always rinse like 90 percent of the conditioner out but keep my hair heavily watered down. Then I apply B leave in curl boost with my head upside down and just stroke my hair on the outside while applying it and not running my fingers through my hair. When you do this grab all your hair from the bottom and crunch it toward your scalp to make your curls bouncy. The last step is with devacurl light defining gel and you apply it just as you would the last step but I don't do the crunching technique. When you get out of the shower use a white cotten shirt and dry your hair by just letting it absorb the water instead of shaking your hair trying to dry it. I sometime will then use a diffuser to dry it depending on what I'm doing but it is summer here so going outside drys it fast enough. I'll add some links to products and a video that helped me out. The price actually regularly fluctuates! Right now it's £65 again. Stock seems to fluctuate quite a bit for those of us getting them through the UK. This being said, I wholeheartedly support what has been said above: buying the 32oz bottles makes it a very affordable product.
Amazon.co.uk. The price has gone up since I first bought them (it was originally about £60 for the both of them), but it's now £70 and lasted for about 13 months, which comes out to just over £5 x month.
I have long curly hair, and I really like the shampoo and the conditioner Deva Curl make. I use the shampoo about twice a week as needed and the conditioner daily. The shampoo doesn't lather and it's called no-poo so I'm not sure it's technically a real shampoo. It's also the kind of conditioner that you can leave in after a shower if you want, but I've never tried that. Also, pomade after every shower helps reduce friziness and encourage those big, thick Kit Harrington locks.
