In my experience, head and shoulders is not good for very sensitive scalp or facial skin. It was good for treating my dandruff temporarily, but it eventually started affecting my scalp and facial skin as it ran down. H&S contains irritating fragrances, and like many shampoos, utilizes Sodium Laureth Sulfate as a main ingredient.
I now use this:

Straight from the Amazon Description:
"Indications
Can be used for the following skin conditions: Psoriasis, Seborrhea, Dandruff, Hair Care, Paraben-Free
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Salicylic Acid USP (3%)
Ingredients
Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, TEA Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-8 Distearate, Cocamide DEA, Cocamide MEA, Disodium EDTA"
Far less ingredients, far less harmful chemicals, replaces the SLS with TEA Laryl Sulfate (much easier on the skin). I've found it incredibly effective as of late. The only downside is that these bottles come in 4oz containers, and they're around $8 each so definitely pricier than the average shampoo.
That being said, I've found my grail of shampoos and won't be changing unless I notice it becomes ineffective.
