The song "I've Been Working on the Railroad" has some of those elements, and I know has a few variant sets of lyrics (though I don't remember hearing one where anyone gets hit).
Your description of the CD made me think of this one: https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Silly-Songs-Simply-Singable/dp/B000001M1F , which contains the Peanut song mentioned by another commenter and "Bill Grogan's Goat" which also features a train

Have you tried Owl City? His lyrics aren't as adult as others. You can also try Depapepe, a japanese guitar duo. They don't have lyrics, but my mom plays them for her kindergarten class.
Tallywood String Quartet covers a bunch of other bands, but aren't as "noisy". It's like Rockabye Baby, but a little less baby-targeted. Actually, I don't think it's targeted at them at all...but still child friendly! :D
I would've suggested these Disney silly kids songs, but I can't be sure you have the same appreciation for the silly as my mom. Haha.
