A room without books is like a body without a soul.
I would love a used copy of [this] ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/0141348941/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3OP7N8Q0ZOXDV&coliid=I1BY5ABFYMXKTN) book. It's about Doctor Who. Need I say more? It also has a story by Neil Gaiman in it...that pretty much seals the deal!
These 11 books were released last year as part of the 50th anniversary celebration. Since there were 11 doctors up to that point, each doctor got their own novel.
You need to read the 4th Doctor story in 11 Doctors, 11 Stories.
Also, I think this would make a great 2-Doctor story, done in flashback/forward/wibbly. Start the episode off like it's a 8th/9th/10th/11th Doctor story, and follow them, but the "flashbacks" would have the current Doctor.
