It is worth watching the historical drama, An Adventure in Space and Time, which aired during the 50th anniversary year. It's the story of how Doctor Who began, and about the actor (William Hartnell) who played the first Doctor.

No, Day of the Doctor is already out in Region 1. An Adventure in Space in Time is a separate release, due on May 27.

EDIT: Wait, that's not even what you were saying. Yes, Night of the Doctor and The Last Day are both on the DVD of Day of the Doctor. My bad!

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a good dramedy.

It won 33 various awards in its first two seasons, including best comedy and best actress. I was skeptical at first, but got sucked into it.

A note about Doctor Who from another discussion here... Amazon has the edited-for-TV version of the episodes, cut down to fit commercials. Blu-ray is the way to go if you want the full episodes.

You should pay attention to the episode order because Amazon carves up the episodes into a variety of places.

1. David Tennant specials come at the end of season 4. You'll be terribly confused if you skip them and move onto Season 5.
   
   
2. Doctor Who Christmas specials are episodes at the end of each Matt Smith season.
   
   
3. 50th Anniversary Collection is at the end of season 7. Day of the Doctor is the anniversary episode. The other items in that category are promotional videos.
   
   
4. An Adventure in Time and Space is a TV movie about the creation of the TV show. It used to be on Prime, but now only disc. It was part of the anniversary celebration.

Most of the single story region 2 discs can be bought on Amazon.UK for 6 GBP after shipping and converting to US Dollars they end up at $12 and change.

I started my collection by buying the Doctors Revisited set, that came with 1 story for each doctor. It doesn't have all the same extra features the regular releases have, but it was a nice booster pack to start my classic collection. And An Adventure in Space and Time came with An unearthly child. then I started watching Amazon and ebay for any stories to dip below $10 inc shipping had 70 ish stories by the time the tolerably priced region 1's dried up.. now i have a region free player and im watching Amazon.US and Amazon.UK for $10 or better region 2's


I don't know about unlocking a ps4, but a lot of DVD players are as simple as googling "dvd region unlock" and the model number/brand then opening the disk tray pressing a sequence of buttons on the remote to unlock a hidden menu and selecting 0 as your region so it will play any dvd region. keep in mind this is only for dvds, bluray players aren't so easy to unlock.
