As others have said, I would encourage you to have practiced enough in advance so that you don't need to reference anything to answer their questions.

One thing I have done for interviews in the past is to bring a nice looking notebook (something like this). I usually have a few questions I want to ask the interviewer written down ahead of time. During the interview I may open it and jot down a note or 2 based off of their answers or things they expect of me (1 or 2 words, keep it brief as your attention should always be on the interviewer). Near the end of the interview I ask them questions from memory (or anywhere it flows naturally in the conversation). At the end of the interview they usually ask if you have any other questions for them and at this point I may quickly reference my notes to ensure I covered everything I wanted to. Again, everything should have already been covered by memory So you can thank them and head out. Afterwards I usually get contact info from a secretary if I don't have it already and send a thank you card for their time.

I think this strategy makes you look more organized and professional. I have received an offer every time I have used it. I want to stress one more time that practicing ahead of you time is the most important part of any interview though.

Lemome

Scribbles that Matter Pro

Are supposed be good for no ghosting....120gsm on the Lemome and 100gsm on the STM (I think)

The STM will be my next/first proper dotted Journal as it has an index and numbered pages......shame the Lemome doesn't as I really like it's spine pen loop and has thicker paper and it's £6 cheaper

All you really need to start is a pen, a journal and maybe a ruler. I got this Journal from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077P4GLMH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_maGOAb7SWG9ED. I really am loving it.

Whoops. Sorry to assume gender. Yeah I was really disappointed by the leuchterm's ghosting. I think the hype over it set me up for disappointment. I am currently using a cheaper lemome. It has good thick pages and virtually no ghosting.
