So I will start with the list of things I already have saved from surfing this sub

EarPlugs:

These are great to put over your tent to keep the light and heat out in the morning so you dont wake up in a sauna at 7am

And finally, I will never attend another festival again without this stuff, it is a foaming body wash that does not require water. We use it at my work all the time for bed baths and whatnot, so I thought I would try it for a festival and it works quite well. It doesnt get you as clean as a normal shower but this and baby wipes can keep you feeling fresh the whole weekend (just dont use it on hair)

There are a bunch on Amazon at different price points. I hear Eargasim is a good company but they are about $35. I found a more affordable pair on Amazon I'm going to be trying out. They come in a carrying case that can snap to keys.

can't endorse the downbeats enough, made being up front for glitch mob, cheese, tribe, umph super comfortable.

and I've definitely had some problems with hearing damage in the past. did lights all night vip in 2012 and was up front for ghostland, nero, and nectar. ghostland observatory was and still is the loudest show I've ever seen.

the best part about those high fidelity ear plugs is that when you're up front you can talk to other people wearing them with a normal speaking voice and understand each other really well.

Some concert earplugs might solve your problem. Maybe something like this.

Those are especially made not to block out all sounds, so you can probably still hear whats going on, without hearing the static.

I'm suggesting this because I really don't think that is a wireless speaker. The lavalier mike probably connects to a receiver wirelessly, and that receiver is powering the speaker you are referencing. I strongly doubt that the speaker is receiving sound over FM, because that would decrease the sound quality.

Just turning the volume down slightly on the receiver might make the static go away. (I have a receiver like this, it makes a sound like you describe, which is only noticeable when it is not playing music.)

Good Luck, Buddy.
