OP, this is one of those things like "As Seen On TV" where they go "Would you pay $100? $200? $50? How about only 2 payments of $19.95?"

And the thing is actually worth half of one $19.95 payment.

That's what you've posted.

This thing is priced 6 times above what it's worth so they can discount it by a factor of 5. It's a scam.

If anyone needs something like this, you're probably also needing wifi. Not everyone has BT and wifi on a separate chip, so maybe you can replace one and not the other, but if they've both gone bad, you want something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-7611ULB-Wi-Fi-Bluetooth-Adapter/dp/B01KVZB3A4

Which, for $4 more is a way better deal/solution.

Gotta downvote for both reasons OP. Sorry.

Sorry, my bad, looks like in fact there is adapters that can do both. Take a look https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KVZB3A4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_cqkBCbBHW63WC

About the drivers thing, CPU doesn't have, nor firmware or anything related but for GPU of course there is, usually every two weeks or so new drivers are release.

I don't know exactly how it works with AMD (I have Nvidia) but there should be a client that makes the download and installation of the new version of the driver for you. Instead you can looking at the website for the newest driver too.

They do! One of these costs more than the separate dongles cost combined, though, which is why I'd rather not use this.

Just type it in on Amazon and choose the highest rated one with a substantial amount of reviews that seems to have good quality control. Not to flame you but you don't really have to make a post about it.

Alternatively, here's one that I just bought. Works decently well and has Bluetooth as an added bonus.

u/reukiodo · 1 pointr/classicmods

Will there be enough power to run all those added extras? How many mA does the SATA SSD use and the BT/WiFi?

You could use something like https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KVZB3A4/ (combo BT/WiFi USB adapter) to save both physical space and potentially mA used...

Is there a mini-itx buying guide (1150)?

I'm moving to a smaller case, and didn't realize ITX had such limitations.

to this case (Fractal Design Define Nano S Black Silent Mini ITX Mini Tower Computer Case)

I'm mostly worried about

  • Any difference between ITX/m-ITX, or just a naming convention?
  • DDR3-2400 RAM support
  • how I'll get wireless/bluetooth without a second PCI slot (plan on USB adapter)
  • what version of PCI-E should I look for? I want to cover myself for a GTX 1070- just PCI-E 3.0?
  • I don't oc my 4770k, & don't have any plans to unless it's necessary for 4k gaming. So far I've had no need (at 1440p), so haven't messed with it. I want to cover myself for the 1070 & 4k, I don't have any plans on SLI/CF.

I'm planning on using this Edimax mini USB wifi/bluetooth adaper, they seem to get good reviews. Also getting a PCI slot fan controller, and removing my optical drive. I can stash the SSDs/HDD somewhere I'm sure. I actually have an h60 connected to a 280mm radiator, but research says it should fit in the front of the Fractal Nano S.

I'm not terribly worried about m.sata. I could replace my OS 256gb SSD with one though, that might be a nice convenience.

I don't know too much else, I've looked at the common boards, I'd like to spend ~$75-125 (new or used). The market for 1150 socket m-ITX seems to be a bit small, which is understandable.

Thanks for any advice. Sorry for the lazy question, I've done some reading & thinking, but don't know everything to look out for.

I was looking at this USB adapter for both Bluetooth and Wifi when I had a mobo in my build that didn't have built in Wifi and Bluetooth. I didn't get it because I found a mobo that had both built in so no need for this.
