A little more (probably too much) information:

Going to be an aunt soon so I figured it was time to learn amigurumi. Purchased the Edward’s Crochet Imaginarium book and watched a few of Kerry Lord’s videos on YouTube. Then I looked at my yarn stash and let my imagination run wild. The blue/pink yarn was previously purchased to make a unicorn mane for a Halloween costume and I had the right amount to make something while using up all the left over yarn. It’s always reminded me of cotton candy.

I’m entering a ton of baked/canned goods in the fair, for the first time and am off the charts nervous about it. I take my baking very seriously. I wanted a “just for fun” fair entry so I created a Cotton Candy Creature. He has a tail and some butt fluff that look similar to the cone/horn and hair on his head. The only difference being that the tail is longer and thinner.

I learned so much. It’s a double win because I used up all of one of the yarns in my stash and made a thing!

3 different books of crochet patterns. I've been waiting for this one to be available in the US for ages, and I got this one, and I pre-ordered this little book of monsters.
