He actually wrote about his perspective on religion in his book Ideas and Opinions. I haven't read it myself, but a friend told me he had some interesting insights on Judaism. Like I said, quotes out of context without the explanation of what he meant by "God" will be misconstrued as religion, something with a being not bound by the laws of physics. Einstein believed in no such entity.
Also did you send me a link to the sale of his bible as proof he was religious? I mean, I have a Quran, Bible, and Torah, what does that make me?
