Lol! Eggs are not easy and I've worked as line cook, baker, and bakery manager. Everyone fucks up eggs. But make sure you are adding enough butter in the pan and the heat isn't too high. That makes all the difference.

You have to feel the place out. Smaller places can be more than a little loco. But if you get a book on cooking basics, you can start teaching yourself at home. Coming in with a little knowledge goes a long way.

Peterson is really great at teaching at a beginners pace. You may find cooking isn't your thing, but you will be able to cook pretty comfortably at home and at a job.
