The Fiio X1 Gen 2 would be my pick. It is $100 on Amazon and is probably the best budget audiophile pick besides the sansa clip and the Gen 1 Fiio X2 which is now $80 with the release of the Gen 2 one. (But neither of those two have Bluetooth)
The Fiio line of high def music players are superb, even the entry level $100 one sounds vastly superior to any ipod...and they play lossless files. Pure win.

However all the music I own is either ripped from my CDs or bought digitally. I listen mostly to hip-hop/rap. Is there a way I would be able to find those albums at the highest quality and if so how? I also have quite a few vinyls but have no idea how to extract the music from them to a digital sense
Over the years, I have been through many of the cheapest mp3 players. My FIIO has given me the best and most reliable experience. Its not the cheapest by far, but it works great.
