This is the officially canon, post-show comic list. There's more canon comics that take place during or before the shows, but this is everything that comes after. The only pre-show comics on here are the 'Tales' comics, but that's because Joss had direct involvement and they're awesome. They're a collection of shorts about past slayers and vampires. There are some reading order issues involved with Tales, so make sure you don't spoil yourself. The final two Tales of the Vampires stories take place during Season 8. Also, Fray takes place in the far future, but it MUST be read before Season 8.
"Shadow Puppets" is pretty cool, but it's also included in the IDW Spike Omnibus which, unless you're hellbent on getting a hardcover, gives you a lot more (mostly great) content for your money. In particular, it has Spike: Asylum, which I highly recommend.
I've read that "re-adaptation" (they used it as filler in one of the Angel Omnibuses), and it's just a shortened version of the episode with not-that-great unmoving pictures instead of live actors. So that's worth exactly nothing.
I can't say anything about "Mystery Date" except that it seems to be extracted from the Masks anthology. Maybe consider getting that one instead?
I don't know what exactly you're looking for or what you've read already, but the After the Fall series is actually pretty good. Or, if you're a Buffy fan too, the Tales or Fray are really awesome. They also lead up to (or, in the case of some of the Tales titles, are set during) Buffy season eight. Which, granted, isn't very good. But I hear it gets better in season nine.
Angel: After the Fall These are the canon comics of Angel: After the Fall. They did continue but were renamed to just Angel and the first volume is called Immortality for Dummies But as i said, this is not canon and Joss is not connected to this, AFAIK.
As i said, i just recently started gathering info about these comics, and i ordered all of this myself 1 week ago, aswell as this, which i couldnt find on amazon.
That's cool :) Buffy season 8 has 8 volumes to be collected and are all pretty easy to get on amazon, Season 9 and A+F are still being released so final numbers arnt known yet, but up to volume 3 have been released. I also suggest getting Fray
Its a Buffy spin-off set in the far future which plays a big role in season 8, and its also my favourite comic ever :D
Just a warning, season 8 feels pretty different than the show. Joss realised this and made season 9 have more of a grounded show-feel. You should also check out the graphic novel Fray, which is set in the distant future but ties in a bunch with season 8. You might even want to get it first as it sets up some plot points in S8 really well because it was published years earlier.

And there's like a ridiculous amount of tangential "potentially canon" comics that I could tell you all about too. Feel free to ask me anything.
