I ordered mine off Amazon a week ago, looks like they still have stock and the price is now slightly lower than when I bought mine: Frostgrave corebook on Amazon

Nope! that's the beauty of the game - you can use practically anything. Most standard scenarios use a three foot square table, but some missions use smaller ones. You'll need a bit of terrain (Tiny houses, trees, fences, ect) and anything else that you'd like to use (I have things for "scatter rubble"). You might want a few "treasures" as well (glass gems work fine, but tiny treasure chests are cool too). There/s a r/frostgrave subreddit here that doesn't get much traffic, but they are pretty great at answering questions.
The general aesthetic of your standard Frostgrave game is all snow, ice, and frosted-over ruins, but there's nothing that say you have to stick to that. Almost everything I use is just terrain from D&D.

What's more, once you have everything you need for normal Frostgrave, you can also play the author's newest game "Rangers of Shadow's Deep" Which is a more co-op RPG-like experience.

The only thing you need to buy is the core book
