I found a really good bin for this, no smell, no sweating. Can open with one touch of the back/side of your hand. A little on the pricey side at $40 but this thing is a champ. Combine with compostable bags and you're all set: https://www.amazon.ca/Full-Circle-Fresh-Compost-Collector/dp/B004XWGS1G

That one just got nasty. I use this one under the sink now, and it’s great.

That's awesome! I'll be the first to admit that I am by no means an authority on composting, so I would definitely keep looking into other resources. My set up is just a compost bin with compostable bags, and then every week I bring the bag to a farm that's fairly close to me and they use it for their larger compost setup. I live in a very rural area so it wasn't too difficult to find someone who would take my compost, but there are probably other solutions for people who live in more urban areas. I know there are more and more cities now where they will actually take your compost with your trash and recycling, so I would look into what your area offers!

Side note: my original compost bin was just one of the metal can ones, which got really smelly really quickly, so I switched to this one from Full Circle (link below), which allows air to get through and doesn't start to smell for at least two weeks, I highly recommend it!

I use a Full Circle bin and it's great, with the airflow the biobags can be in there for over a week [I line the bottom with a piece of paper to absorb moisture]. I've been using is for about 3 years and I never have any issues with flies or smell.

Also you can keep the scraps in your freezer.

Ditto. I use this one.
