The case I have is pretty easy to take off, and I have to if I want to use GearVR anyway.
I haven't used GearVR lately, so I'll get some tissue and 91% (IPA) rubbing alcohol and wipe down the sides every week or month or so.. can't find a scratch on it.
Apparently IPA removes oleophobic coating on screens and protectors, so maybe only clean the screen with IPA once the coating has worn off anyway.
I have the Obliq flex pro and love it but it's not available anymore. This one looks the same and should do the same job
