Only two screws and then it came apart, was very easy to put back together too.
Okay, I went to try the replacement on the GBA cartridges, and unfortunately I do not have the right screwdriver bit (tool) at the moment.
I need this screwdriver to open the GBA cartridge. I can order it sometime next week (my next paycheck) and update you then on how the repair goes?
I found a lot like this one that provide the screen, but $100 is awfully pricey. I feel like I can get my friend's GBA (free), a used SP ($30?), and that ribbon cable ($10 for either of these), and that tri-wing screwdriver ($1.60) and do the whole thing for less than half the price of the kit.

There is a security screw that holds the case together. You can either buy an overpriced one online, or you can go to your local arbor freight and buy the bit for a couple bucks

Once you have the cartridge apart you can clean the contacts with some isopropyl alcohol ( highest percentage you can find ) and a q-tip. If the contacts are really bad you can get some brasso brass polish to clean them up.
As for the board and case, you can just brush them gently with a toothbrush and it should get them good and clean. Hopefully this should get everything all nie and clean for you.
