No kids here, just lazy. Here is what my daily meal plan looks like when my give-a-fuck meter is on empty:

Breakfast: Half a tub of cottage cheese.

Lunch: Usually nothing, but if I really feel like eating, I make a protein shake. Scoop of this, scoop of this, and a spoonful of instant coffee for flavor/caffine in ~20oz of water. Shake it up in a blender bottle and you're golden.

Dinner: Stick of pepperoni or chorizo and a hunk of cheese. Alternately, if I've made a big batch of taco meat lately, I'll just re-heat a bowl full with cheese melted into it and eat it with a spoon.

Obviously this is not a "balanced" diet by any stretch, so I suppliment it with vitamins. I take a multi, a magnesium, and a calcium every morning. It's also woefully short on fiber, so I don't recommend this regime for for weeks at a time. However, for me personally, it works just fine.

Juice is pretty much sugar, with some vitamins thrown in. It's the fiber that really makes sugar/carbs 'better', and juicing throws the fiber right out. Also I'll note that juicers are a pain to clean...

I would recommend smoothies instead. I blend up almond milk, spinach and frozen fruit. Add some chia seeds or flax for extra fiber, and a scoop of unsweetened protein powder and you've basically got a nicely balanced low calorie meal, and blenders are easier to clean. My go to is two handfuls of spinach, 1C of unsweetened almond milk and 1C of mixed frozen tropical fruit (available at any grocery store), plus half a scoop of jarrow unsweetened protein powder and a spoonful of greek yogurt. It looks pretty unappealing but is quite tasty.

If you do decide to juice I'd chase it with some Super Seed to get some fiber back in. You can mix that in with the juice too but it gels up pretty quick so I just mix it with water and chug it straight.
