Around Christmas, remove your porch light bulbs and put these in instead. Run your lights from there, and it obviously works from your normal porch light switch inside of the house. Unless you have a ton of lights, these work perfectly.

I use these and they are excellent.

I coupled them with these to plug into existing sockets.

I control all of mine with the switch on the wall, if I wanted to control them individually you could put these (or similar) on each set to individually control them.

Anyone know where to find a simple socket to power outlet adapter like this with a switch (pull-chain etc). Something like this, but can be turned off and on.

I've bought one of these, but all similar products to this only switch the bulb socket on and off. I need something to switch an outlet socket.

I've considered these, but these but it also doesn't switch the outlet on/off.

Anything out there that will do what I'm lookin for?

appreciate it,

matt

Use a Dual Bulb Socket Double Light "Y" Adaptor that allows for two "type A" light bulbs.
In one of the two sockets screw in a GE 54276 Polarized Handy Outlet Plug.

Easiest, cheapest way to do it. Surprised a smart, superior guy like you couldn't figure that out on your own ;)

If you have an Edison bulb to outlet, you could get some power from the light bulb in each cabin. I would not suggest leaving it plugged in as it might be against the rules, especially when housekeeping comes by.

You can just mount some hooks in the beams above to position the hanging light wherever you like... Then you can get one of these to plug it into, using the current light socket.
