I use these Korean exfoliating cloths. The nice thing about them is by pressing lighter or harder you can control the exfoliation. They’re also pretty cheap, last a long time and are easy to use.

I don't know if you suffer from the same thing I do but I'll describe and tell you what worked for me.

I do not have the stinging you are mentioning but I also don't shave my legs every day. My legs DO itch like crazy after I shave and I figured out that the reason is because when the hair grows back , the hair is trying to get through the skin and that causes the itching. I often find hairs are trapped under the skin ( ingrown ).

I found two solutions. Either

  1. use a depilatory cream instead of a razor blade. Hair removed using the depilatory cream has round edges rather than a sharp edge from being sliced off. So when hair grows back it's not causing your skin to itch.

  2. Exfoliate. I WAS using a very smooth pumice stone to GENTLY rub against the grain of the hair as it was growing back. Something like this but I recently found the Korean Exfoliating Scrub Mittens ( also called Italy green towel I think) and these things work AMAZING for exfoliating my legs. These have been talked about recently here on the forum. Exfoliating I find helps the hair get through the surface way easier and no more itching after one good exfoliation.

After THAT I use Amalactin body lotion because it has alpha hydroxy in it which also helps with exfoliation.

Okay , again I don't know if your issue is the same as mine. Like I don't really know what to say about why your legs are stinging other than if they are just too irritated because of what you are dealing with or are you scratching too? I know I will scratch my legs bloody before I figured out a solution and would do this unconsciously. Like I woke up at night scratching my legs.

My apologies. I bought this some time ago. The price for the product I bought says $9.24. I've been giving them away to friends and family. There's no way I can use all of these alone!

No particular brand. Amazon turns up this which would be over a years supply if it's just you using them. And yes, you want to use them on wet skin.
