Made myself some new mouth protection with a steelmouth, hair bands, elastic bands, and some rough stitching. The hairbands go around your ears to hold it in place. I kept the straps a little loose so I can move it down easily, but tight enough to stay in place fairly well. Mostly got it for my RUSFOR kit, but it'll probably see some use with my woodland and multicam kits as well. shoutout to /u/element074 for the idea.

I posted this last year using two binder clips, and then later updated the design to take the pinching stress off of the cable.
This is a simple girl's hair tie and a common binder clip (any size will work). Wrap the hair tie around the tether cable, then through the clip's handle.
I wear this clip every time I play. The benefit here is that you don't have to put it on your belt, you can clip it to your shirt, your sleeve, your underwear, bra-strap, whatever. It completely removes the weight from the back of your headset and places it somewhere less noticeable like your shirt collar. You will notice the effect immediately, I promise.
With the hair tie, there is no stress on the tether wire and it can be easily and quickly adjusted to any point on the cable as needed. And it can stay on there permanently with no issues.
