So you gotta rub the Grandmas into the stain and let it sit for a few hours THEN throw in the wash. I put a Amazon link to be helpful, if you live in Seattle you could borrow my bottle if you'd like.

This one? I use it and I’m always amazed.

Gather round, it's story time...

I purchased this shirt from Amazon and had it on when my mom and sister came over for a visit. They lost their minds.

For my dad, we gave him a wrapped and framed picture of me holding the positive test. I also gave this to my mom after she stopped freaking out over the shirt. Some people find this weird but it worked for us.

For my husband's family (parents plus 4 children under 10) we gave the two boys Uncle Ben's Rice and Uncle Sam's Cereal; we gave the two girls Aunt Jemima Syrup and Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix; his mother got Grandma's Secret Spot Remover; finally, his stepfather got Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap (which smells terrible, by the way). We wrapped these items and waited for them to figure it out. It was so fun!

Disclosure: I saw the latter on YouTube but I don't have the link.

  • For stain/ spot treatment, I use Grandma's secret spot remover, I put a small amount on the spot and some water, rub a few times and let it sit for 10 mins, then rinse clean. Works really well, I tried it on cashmere, white leather shoes, cotton shirts.

  • For wool, I use the laundress wool & cashmere shampoo, and wash in machine on hand wash cycle with sweater bags, cold water only, low spin, no drying.

  • For white, I wash with white color clothes only with Whites detergent

Ahhh good to know, thanks so much!

In return, I give you the best thing I know of to get blood stains out of flat cotton. I have yet to meet a stain which won't come out with a little dab of that stuff (includes blood, dye that bled from another garment, mascara, etc).

I've used Grandma's Secret Stain Remover on sharpie and it's taken it out.

Grandma's secret spot remover. http://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B0021JD2S0 seriously. That took dried up ink out of kaki pants, outdoor lame oil out of sheets and shoe Polish off of jeans rub in and wash shoes should come right out.

I have a white top that I really, really like and I accidentally splashed oil ALL OVER the front of it(and that's not even the stupidest/clumsiest thing I've ever done). On top of that, I then washed it and dried it. I thought it was ruined forever. After trying everything else to no avail, this completely saved it, it looked totally brand new after I used it. If you try a bunch of other stuff and it doesn't work, try this.

Beautiful color choices! Check this stuff out for stains. It removes EVERY. STAIN. I think it's witchcraft.

As long as there was no heat applied on the tumbe-dry and you didn't iron it, there is one last thing you can try:

http://www.amazon.com/Grandmas-Secret-Spot-Remover-2-Ounce/dp/B0021JD2S0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1371192397&sr=8-1&keywords=grandmas+secret+spot+remover

Even if it doesn't help with this, it's still very good to have around and works like magic when applied within an hour of the incident.

Goo Gone, bro. Trust me on this! Got liquid foundation out of my car seat with that shit.

This stuff works well too: http://www.amazon.com/Grandmas-Secret-Spot-Remover-2-Ounce/dp/B0021JD2S0

That staining is likely unavoidable. Try a stain remover (I've had decent success with this) or bleach.

I would recommend trying something like Grandma's Stain Remover. Of course you'll want to test it first on a inconspicuous area first.
