Ditto. I bought this for travel and whatnot. Otherwise it's nekked at home. Never had an issue, or bothered with protection. Even the bareback of the kindle is like new. Sometimes, there is friction from putting the kindle in the sleeve because it's so tight.

I like these best because they remind me of the scene in Men In Tights where Robin accepts Rottingham's challenge to a duel by hitting him round the face with the glove like this :D

I have this case and it's great. The nexus 7 2013 fits snugly and has room on all sides so it won't rub. The pocket is handy for cables and a stand. For £8 it's a bargain. No idea how long it will last, but it seems well made.
