Well it depends, do you just want a good starter desk or something you can use for a good length of time without feeling like you have to get another one?Personally I have a rather small desk I thought I would like but have come to realise leaves me wishing for more space for my mouse, keyboard and assorted desk decorations (a few figures mainly). I've been using L shaped desks for a few years and like them. My mouse arm sits on the part of the table to my right so my entire arm is on a flat surface. The keyboard it the only tricky part, but is perfectly fine if there is a keyboard shelf directly under the front of the desk.

Only the second one has a key board shelf, but these are all under 100.
