If you're looking for older stuff, there aren't many options. Individual issues and even TPBs are long out of print. Those would only be available through 3rd party sellers or Ebay.

Dark Horse Halo comics can be purchased on Amazon and through the Dark Horse site, though its mostly just collections now, not individual issues.

My least favourite of all halo books, just personal preference and I feel like it's easier to start on familiar territory with stuff your slightly familiar with. If I was you I would go for fall of reach to start with.
