Personally, I went with the Digital Ultimate Edition months ago. Not for price, but to assure I get the Play Anywhere aspect. The Definitive Edition is a nice bonus now that it is coming out so early.
At the end of the day, however, I assume you are talking about the Disc version which lists as $67.99 USD. Thing is, if you ever want to play HW2 on PC, you'd then need to buy the digital copy as well. Pus the Digital edition has some other, admittedly smaller, benefits I'll list below.

Thing is, through Amazon I got my (digital) Halo Wars 2 UE code back in December.
Mine [shows](Halo Wars 2 - Ultimate Edition - Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GW914HU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_qgTrybYAJFDS3) 3 prices: $80, $68 and $63. So if you have prime, you're essentially getting all the goodies for $3.
