  1. Not powerful enough

  2. Food gets stuck in the blades really easily & has to be pried out with a small spatula or spoon.

  3. Most don't come with a stand or bowl with a mounting area. Probably the best combination design is the Hamilton Beach bowl/handheld classic unit:

It would be nice if the mixer came with some sort of clamp for the bowl, or extendable legs, or something so that you have a place to put it. Mine sits on the back end pretty well, but it's kind of wobbly & is always a little bit annoying when I'm doing a multi-step mix, like say chocolate-chip cookies where I do the batter first, then add the chocolate-chips in.

I like hand mixers even though I have a large KitchenAid stand mixer because sometimes it's just more convenient to get the hand mixer for small batches of stuff & then give it a quick rinse in the sink.

This [mixer] (http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-Speed-Classic-64650/dp/B000R4LD1Y/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=GEKXSOCWU12Y&coliid=I1OZRXHY4II3RN) because I love baking, but my hand mixer broke. I won't bake right now because I have tendonitis and I can't use my hands to mix things it hurts way to much. Thank you for contest
