Many mechanical watches have clear backs, such as this Orient

Firstly, that watch you linked to has Dual Time in its name, which is kind of misleading. I can assume that they mean it is dual time in the sense of the hands and the day-night indicator showing the time, but it is the exact same time, not dual time which would imply two different times. Is that a feature you want? In which case that will severely limit choices. Nope, it does have a second time zone at the 6 o'clock. Thanks /u/oldaccount!

Anyways, I see that you are rather set on a skeleton watch and three brands I would suggest that may have something you want:

• Orient (1, 2, & 3)
  
  Hopefully those may be close to what you want and they are brands that people here consider to be better quality.

Buy whatever you like, but these I linked are at least slightly better brands with better movements in them. If you ONLY care about looks, buy one of the ones you linked. But with $1000 to spend you could get a really nice watch, instead of just a fashion statement. I'm not saying ones better or the other, but a lot of people in this sub would kill to have $1,000 grand to drop on a watch. People would be buying Seiko Cocktail Times, Tisso Visodates, Hamilton Khakis, etc. But none of those have the visible part of the movement you wanted, so I linked some that did.

Also, that Fossil, it's a quartz watch so the "wheels" you see aren't even real or doing anything. It's just for show. It's actually just battery operated, not an actual automatic like some of the others you linked or the ones I linked.

Description:|I purchased this watch off watchex fairly recently; since then I've worn it a handful of times to work and the condition is virtually the same. It's a Hamilton Jazzmaster Open Heart - 40mm in rose gold, reference H32575735. Watch was originally purchased new in July 2017. It has been worn very carefully, and is still in mint condition. The original strap and buckle have very minor wear.
This is a great looking open heart watch powered by an ETA-2824. There is a great contrast of brushed and highly polished surfaces on the case. The gold plating is basically still in perfect condition. The watch comes with a set of outer box, inner box, manual, and tags.
