I'll give you some instructions directly! Firstly, I use these trays and buy my seeds here.

The most important factors I've found are proper disinfection of equipment and draining all the water. Really can't emphasize these points enough. With that in mind....

  1. Soak the seeds for 2 hours in a jar that's been sanitized with bleach and hot water

  2. Always clean your trays with bleach and hot water and store/grow in places where it won't be susceptible to air born infection (I used to leave the trays close to the stove and bacon particulates would get in and cause problems. Don't do that).

  3. When the soak is done, spread the seeds evenly between the trays. It's really important that you don't have too many seeds per tray or it will congest drainage. Less is more!

  4. Make sure ALL the water is drained out of the trays. You may need to run your washed fingers along the bottom edge of the trays to break water tension and allow full drainage.

  5. Twice a day, rinse the sprouts under cold water and drain ALL the water before restacking the trays.

Any warnings in there are due to negative experiences I've had. Please heed them carefully. Hope that helps!

Edit: One more thing, don't let the seeds germinate too long. The longer you leave them, the greater the chance of infection. 3-4 days is all it takes.
