I got their compilation book a few years ago

it is real, but they are in on the joke - the joke is actually on us, it is a subtle jab at soccer (which they consider 'funny') as you can end a game 1-1 and 'win') and a reference to a meme where underdogs in teams 'win' if they draw. The Post is famous for its witty headlines, and for having a stance on things and sticking to it - for eternity, eg.
