OK, just kidding, I would never have had the guts for that, and it would mean that everyone in the store would be staring at you imagining it, which is no good. But it's about all I could think of, if you don't want to go back to HR. Has manager talked to everyone about this? Can you add a "DO NOT KNOCK" to your sign, or one of those plastic "clock" things saying what time the room will be free again? you just want to manually set the time? no counting up/down or anything? what about those "will return" clocks ?
