Also, for the price of two people's hotel stay for the weekend (at most), you can get a generator and AC unit for the tent. We've got this generator and this portable AC unit. You can easily keep a 10-person tent nice an chilly with this setup.

I use a portable a/c similar to https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-MN12CES-Portable-Conditioner-Dehumidifier/dp/B008UHXLGA

Connects a hose to a port thats like 3 inches wide and 8 inches long. My window is like a foot and a half across and like 5 feet tall and the whole thing swings open. So i use some corrugated plastic like https://www.homedepot.com/p/Coroplast-48-in-x-96-in-x-0-157-in-White-Corrugated-Plastic-Sheet-CP4896S/205351385 to block the whole opening up. With some aluminum tape sealing up the edges.

Cools down almost everywhere but a fan like https://www.costco.com/Cascade-40%22-Tower-Fan-with-Remote.product.100405139.html in a doorway solves the problem and is pretty quiet.

This setup has covered me for four living situations/layouts and only requires you have a window that opens so its hard to understand how your setup fails. What a/c are you using? Can we get a crude map of your room layout?
