Movie: In the Electric Mist
Not the greatest movie in the world, but the small town politics, casual depiction of racial divisions, and influence of money really struck me as an honest portrayal of life around here.

Absolutely. A southern populist who scares the daylights out of the moneyed interests is just what America needs today.
PS. If you're interested in Huey Long, this is a great book.
T. Harry Williams's Huey Long is the best biography on him there is. I just realized it looks like I'm shit talking it in my above post when I'm actually praising it, it'll change your mind if you think he was a boogeyman.
